Thank you for following Discovering the Rainbows. I pray that God will use it to bless you and your family day by day. I am deeply touched by your post ‘Dance’ (the only one I have read so far) and am grateful that you have the courage to share your life with us. God bless you
Hello! Been reading your blog for a while and I must confess, that a man in a situation like yours is really a hardened one! There was a lot of good insight earned through your words and I wish you all the best in your journey.
On another note, I’ve been nominated for a 3 QUOTE CHALLENGE where I get to chose three other bloggers for it each day. Here are the rules if you wish to join https://throughfantasyandreality.wordpress.com/2016/10/16/day-1-of-3-days-quote-challenge/
I understand if you wish to stay out of it. Usually I don’t accept these myself, but it seemed good to get to know another bloggers as well as to share my blog and the blog of others!
Wish you a good day!
Hi Kelly, thank you for the follow! I have read several of your posts. My heart goes out to you and your family. Your love, dedication, and perseverance is commendable . . . certainly not for the faint of heart! Prayers that your load becomes lighter, your path becomes clearer, and that strength and joy will outweigh all the trials.
Thank you for visiting and following my blog (On a Journey). I have spent most of my adult life connected with people who have disabilities and their families–through work, living situations and volunteering–and I am grateful for all the blessings those relationships have brought me. Thank you for sharing your family’s story; I am sure it helps others in similar situations to see in print what they are living.
Thanks for the follow! How have you been and how’s your blog doing?
I don’t know if you know that I moved my blog to a self-hosted platform. This has prevented me from connecting with WordPress bloggers like I used to. I would still like to remain in contact with your blog. Do you have an RSS feed I can subscribe to?
If you would still like to follow my blog, may I add you to my mailing list? I send out one email per day with all the blogs posted for the day including blogging tips. You can also unsubscribe at any time if you feel you want to stop receiving the emails. If you are happy for me to subscribe you, please send me your email address.
Also, I created a blogger tips group to connect with all my long last WordPress blogger friends, and to help all of us to learn from each other. I would love for you to share your knowledge in the group and connect with other bloggers. Here’s the link:

The Ripple Effect of Blogging
I knew there was another dad out there! It’s nice to find another father dedicated to doing whatever’s necessary for their autistic child and spouse. I must admit, sometimes I feel like I’m the only one. That’s not exactly true, be we are a bit of a rare breed.
Thank you for the follow. I have enjoyed reading some of your posts. Even though my children are almost grown (done and cooked), I am always inspired by reading how others deal with the challenges of parenting; because there is not one single right way. You can never do wrong when you are doing your best for your kids.
You are an incredible man and father. Your challenges as a full time father are far greater than mine. My oldest son is on the autism spectrum. He is 16, has a cognitive learning disorder accompanied by sensory issues and struggles with impulse control. Because of his condition, he will perpetually remain the mental equivalent of an average ten-year-old. He lives with his mother most of the year, but spends his summers with me. While I watch my four youngest develop and mature, it is difficult to know that my nearly grown man will forever have the mind of a child.
Thank you for your inspiring stories! You are assurance for many parents like us that we are not alone!
Hey man. Cheers for popping up on my page, appreciated. And thanks for your writings and ramblings, heartfelt honesty and your integrity, which shines through. We have a saying in this country (New Zealand)…Kia Kaha. It means, simply, stand strong. I believe you are doing that and long may you. All the best bro.
Thank you,
